How to Operate Strobe Training Glass

Press USE YOUR REV.
It will take you to another screen and ask you to SELECT THE REV YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT.
You will see an 8 digit number that corresponds to the number on inside right arm of glasses. This is the serial number.
PRESS on the number that corresponds to the glasses you want to connect and wait a few seconds for it to pair.
Press on the PAUSE/PLAY button ( | | ) to START/STOP the control of the glasses.
The default mode has both the RIGHT and LEFT lenses blinking at the same time.
Press the Left (<) to decrease and Right (>) to increase the difficulty.
The Right (>) increases the length of the occlusion from 100ms up to 910ms.
Press RIGHT. The R lens blinks while the L lens is solid.
Press LEFT to switch lenses.
Great for single eye training. Everyone has a dominant eye and weak eye.
We can train the weak eye to provide better info to the brain.
You may find it difficult to hit or catch a ball with the weaker eye but you will improve.
When the brain gets better info it can put the body in a position for success and reduce or eliminate your ‘blind spot’.
Press ⩉ to lock lenses. Both lenses return to blinking.
Press the ⇌ button and the glasses change to alternating mode. The RIGHT and LEFT lenses blink independently.
The purpose of this mode is to strengthen individual eyes, especially the weaker eye. We can train the weaker eye to give the brain better info and more balanced vision.
Every athlete has a ‘BLIND SPOT’ where is it more difficult to hit or catch. We can make that weakness a strength.
PRESS the ⩉ icon to LOCK both of the lenses to blink at simultaneously and return to default mode.
STROBE TRAINING LEVELS - (10,15,21,28,36,45,55,66,78,91)
TRAINING LEVEL ’10’ MEANS THAT THERE IS 100ms OF OCCLUSION (WHERE YOU CANNOT SEE). AT LEVEL ’15’ THERE IS 150ms OF OCCLUSION, AND SO ON. EVERY TIME THE LENS GOES CLEAR IT IS FOR 100ms. WE ARE CONTROLLING THE AMOUNT OF OCCLUSION, FROM 100ms UP TO 910ms. THE HIGHER THE LEVEL THE FASTER THE BRAIN MUST PROCESS THE LIMITED VISUAL STIMULI.
PLEASE USE THE HIGHER LEVELS ONLY FOR BALANCE DRILLS.
ALWAYS START ON THE LOWEST LEVEL, ’10’, AND INCREASE AS YOU MAKE A SUCCESSFUL ATHLETIC MOVEMENT. YOUR GOAL IS TO MAKE THE BRAIN WORK FASTER BY TAKING AWAY VISUAL STIMULI. AFTER TRAINING WITH THE GLASSES THE ‘GAME SLOWS DOWN’ SINCE THE BRAIN IS GETTING INFO FASTER AND IS ABLE TO TELL THE BODY WHERE/HOW TO MOVE FASTER. IF TOO DIFFICULT, GO DOWN A LEVEL UNTIL SUCCESSFUL.
ALWAYS FINISH DRILLS WITHOUT THE GLASSES.
